The Role Projects are managed by a regional office, however, their schemes can be national they have numerous jobs starting in the whole of the Yorkshire area so if you are local to this area or happy to lodge in this region we encourage you. Responsibilities Planning and estimating for budgets and timescales; Contribute to work planning, and brief project teams, contractors and suppliers; Passing any extra work to be done within set timescales; Supply information to resolve disputes if they arise; Identify areas of concern and finding solutions for existing contracting processes; Overseeing health and safety is being implemented to appropriate standards. Manage the on site management team and oversee sub: contractors. Skills You will have demonstrable experience leading, motivating a multi: skilled trades team together; Able to think outside the box and to react quickly to issues that need resolving; A good organisational skill set; Being able to deliver quality to timescales required; A good knowledge and understanding of construction and issues such as building regulations and planning; Commercial awareness and an ability to establish and maintain good working relationships; Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team; A culture of continuous improvement to support. Essential Requirements SMSTS; CSCS CARD; First Aid Card; Proven experience working on projects of at least GBP2 million in value as a Site Manager Experience in working on high rise apartment block new build projects Exposure to new build projects.
