The role of Assistant Chef will include: : Delivering a high: quality versatile catering service that caters for our customers' individual needs, including special diets : Assisting with the planning and creation of nutritionally balanced meals for our customers : Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards: Maintaining current risk backssments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard: Ability to work alone, in absence of Chef Manager : Monitoring and ordering stock and receiving deliveries for the service Skills and experiences: : Previous experience of working in a catering environment is essential along with experience of cooking for various groups of people: A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential: Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures and operation of catering equipment is essential: Friendly and approachable attitude with.
