Location: Liverpool Job roles/responsibilities: Manage force's online presence, including website design, maintenance, hosting, and security. Develop and maintain campaign microsites. Integrate websites and intranet into service delivery, leveraging new technology for online transactions and engagement. Lead website development using various platforms and technologies, from idea generation to delivery. Analyse website performance, provide management information, and drive continuous improvement. Stay updated on digital best practices and national guidance, ensuring compliance with standards. Support Digital and Social Media Manager in managing web-related contracts and external suppliers. Provide expert advice and support on web and digital activities for communications plans. Collaborate on creative content development for the web. Deliver training to police officers and staff for web editing and technology use. Act as a liaison between Communications and IT, resolving technical issues. Maintain editorial responsibility for online content and ensure adherence to policies. Drive innovation and insight-based solutions for web-based platforms and services. Knowledge/Experience required: Significant, demonstrable experience of managing websites and content for a large, complex organisation. Significant, demonstrable experience of devising and implementing web development plans. Specialist knowledge of web hosting and servers and web technologies to ensure the provision of a 24 hour a day, seven days a week electronic information resource. Able to prioritise and organise a varied workload whilst still being innovative and focused on measuring and delivering results. Able to build and maintain effective.
