Factory operative, Worcester Mon-Thu 8-5. Fri 7-4Pay: £10.50 p/h Temp to perm OT rate 1.5x, bank holidays off work A multi functional role that will require someone who is a team player, is adaptable and willing to learn a range of tasks of both the production and warehouse. The successful candidate will be working on tasks such as: • Picking and building furniture• Loading and unloading vehicles• Inspecting goods for quality prior to wrapping• Using hand tools (drilling stone, wood)• Supporting in the storage and organisation of products• You may also undertake training on large production machinery (pay rise after training up to £12 p/h)You will need to be able to follow written instructions, be accurate and have an eye for detail. You will need to be self motivated to work alone when required but ready to jump in and help other members of the team when needed. Experience with using hand tools such as drills and use of a pillar drill, sanding equipment would be an advantage. Use of large machinery such as a bridge saw/CNC machine would be desirable but not necessary. Each day we are responsible for placing several hundred dedicated operatives out to work throughout Worcestershire. We operate from several conveniently located registration centres, therefore are likely to have an office close to you. We cover the following job categories: Order picking, Warehouse, Stores, Despatch, Packing, Assembly, Machine operating and FLT Driving.
