Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Birmingham I am seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for an established automotive engineering company. This is a contract role outside IR35. They are part of a growing successful business operating in the supply of automotive components for a range of commercial engines. They provide design and development services for other sister companies within the engine products division being a global supplier/market leader in their field. What You Will Do: As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer; To assist in the design of a range of engine ancillaries including oil, water and fuel pumps Ability to work from 1 st principals in concept design work utilising problem solving skills Work alongside engineering team to ensure design is optimised for manufacture To liaise with design team and Chief Engineer to resolve design issues. Create CAD models and layout of engineering drawings To create engineering reports What You Will Need: As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer; Degree qualified Engineer with a minimum of 3years industry experience Proven ability in one of the leading 3D CAD modelling packages Experience of designing with both metals and plastic materials Knowledge/experience in concept design work Knowledge of rotating components such as bearings, seals, gears, pulleys would be advantageous What You Will Get: As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer; Employment with an established engineering company being market leaders in their field A competitive contract rate outside ir35 Work on a range of innovative projects Applications Suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Design Engineers should apply today by either calling Jeff Lane on or by emailing their CV and covering letter to order for your CV to be processed effectively, please ensure your name, email address, phone number and location (post code OR town OR county, as a minimum) are included.
