ASR International Corporation (ASR) is looking to add a Business Development Specialist/Professional at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyze and assess business development opportunities and ‘open the door’ to those opportunities. Help open the door to new companies offering First Article Inspection support. Speak to/qualify companies to be partners. Review and analyze related RFP’s and SOWs to determine feasibility. Perform market research for opportunities to determine win threshold. Create ‘must have’ experiences related to job specific requirements. Connect/communicate with key stakeholders in oil & gas, aviation, and other industries around the country for opportunities available. Serve as Point of Contact for some contracts ensuring all requirements are met to terms of the contract Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Strong understanding of QA/QC, First Article Inspection, Supplier Quality Inspections, or willing to learn the concepts with minimal instruciton Strong oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with service-based industries/contracts Ability to learn quickly new standards and concepts High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Willingness to learn, and serve in multiple roles with a dedication to overall progress of the company.
