As our Housing Management Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting customers who live in our fantastic extra care service for over 55’s. As our Housing Management Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our service. You will ensure the safety of our customers and the security of the building is maintained. You will work collaboratively for referrals and sign ups, can demonstrate effective management of voids, rent and service charge collection. The day in the life of a Housing Management Worker Health and Safety is at the top of your agenda, you will navigate yourself around our H&S paperwork and documentation. This includes safeguarding reports and incidents. It also includes completing welfare checks for customers in dispersed properties as well as completing flat and property defect checks and delivering support to our customers around their finances. Thinking on your feet and manage situations on the spot in line with our policies and procedures. You will collaborate with your team, as well as working closely with social workers and hospital discharge teams when a home becomes available in the service. You will be a driving force in ensuring rent and service charge doesn’t go into a minus. Having a commercially caring conversation with customers is the norm.
