What we offer: • This positions starts at $19.50 • Comprehensive health benefits • We can guarantee 40 hours/week • Uniform provided free of charge • Career advancement opportunities in the security field or within the head office • Continuing education through Garda World Campus Academy • Corporate discounts What does a High Profile Security Guard in Calgary do? • Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors • Patrolling minimum 15-20 km in a shift. Conducting interior, exterior and parkade patrols. • Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking • Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations • Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees • Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis • Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors • Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork • Removing unauthorized individuals from the property in a safe manner. • Covering the control centre and be willing to be promoted within o Control center duties not limited to: Answer all incoming security telephone lines including the Complex emergency telephone line. o Monitoring the Complex wide access control and closed-circuit.
