The Edu Finance Mar Comm Intern will work closely with the Mar Comm Coordinator and Operations Director to execute Marketing and Communications projects that will contribute to Edu Finance’s aim to share learnings and program impact widely in the education sector. RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Research, recommend, and implement SEO strategies to increase web traffic to Edu Finance. org Write updates for the “Where We Work” section of the Edu Finance website, including updated stats from our Research team and impact stories pulled from our case study library Assist in surveying our Global Staff on Team Bio updates needed to ensure the organizations represented the team's diverse expertise. Edit social media content to align the content with best practices. Other Mar Comm-related tasks, such as Conference planning support, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must be enrolled in a credited college graduate or undergraduate program and/or have similar training or experience. Preferred degree programs may include digital marketing/SEO, graphic design, videography/photography, international development, and education; however, candidates from any degree may apply if they can provide portfolio examples of past work. Digital Marketing / SEO experience. Very detail-oriented with an appreciation for technical tasks. Experience interacting with the backend of a website. Training and/or good instincts in graphic design. Strong writing skills with a journalistic approach in English. Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders. CAPSTONE PROJECT The intern will focus on expanding the visibility of Edu Finance Partners & Impact using SEO strategies (Edufinance. org) through a m ulti-step Capstone Project and present their findings and recommendations.
