Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Surveyor, Quantity Surveying, Estimator, Cost consultant, Surveyor, job Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Location: Glasgow, Scotland Salary: £40k - £70k + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Full Time, Monday-Friday The Client: Our client is a well-established engineering firm, excels in Infrastructure and non-Infrastructure works, delivering high-quality products across diverse sectors. The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will generate timely, accurate estimates from tender documentation and manage on-site work details for measurement and valuation. Responsibilities: Source and secure contractors and subcontractors. Obtain supply chain quotes promptly. Identify project risks and build supply chain relationships. Produce clear and qualified tender submissions. Complete PQQs and streamline new client onboarding. Issue quotes for variations and certify subcontractor applications. Liaise with clients and construction professionals. Monitor project costs for adherence to estimates. Provide precise accruals for Profit and Loss reporting. Conduct monthly sales forecasting for senior management. Requirements: Previously worked as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or in a similar role. At least 3 years of surveying experience. Civil engineering or construction background. Experience in projects of varying values up to £1m. Completion of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. Understanding of commercial and contractual principles. Valid UK driving licence. Benefits: Competitive salary Pension scheme On-site parking Car allowance.
