Executive Chef – Japanese Restaurant Salary: 100,000 - 120,000 Location: New York, NYMy client is a prestigious, thriving restaurant group planning to unveil a new location this year. This presents an exhilarating opportunity for an individual passionate about crafting seasonal menus and spearheading culinary operations within a successful establishment. Responsibilities: Create and develop menus up to 3 times a year based on season and volume Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain their reputation for culinary excellence Hire, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary skill and teamwork Oversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislation Manage cost controls, forecasting and inventory management Review financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded Executive Chef Qualifications: Proven experience in a comparable role, preferably within a high volume establishment Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment Previous Fine Dining experience is a an asset A well-rounded and motivated culinary professional who can support and inspire team members Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills Degree in Culinary Arts is an asset If you’re interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to Ashley today Ashley@COREcruitment are experts in recruiting for the service sector.
