Head Sommelier – Michelin Restaurant Location: Central London Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 The Role: Our client needs a Head Sommelier who has a real passion for delivering the highest levels of wine service and creating a fantastic dining experience for your guests. This is an intimate casual fine dining restaurant, and the guest experience is paramount We are looking for someone with an infectious personality and real drive as there is great opportunities to progress within the company The ideal Head Sommelier will: Possess a professional, welcoming, and warm personality. Have previous experience in a Sommelier position, preferably within a premium environment. Possess WSET level 3 or equivalent Sommelier qualifications. You will come from either a fine dining or very premium Restaurant / Hotel / Bar background. Be able to work effectively as part of a team and individually. Identify ways to improve sales or control cost. Quickly builds rapport with your team, guests and suppliers. Communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely. Understand the guest, who they are, their expectations and how to effectively manage their part of the overall service experience to ensure repeat custom.
