Chef de Cuisine/ Exec Sous Chef – Caribbean Island Salary: 85,000 USD plus potential bonus Location: Antigua Perks: Free Housing, Free Meals, Airfare, 15 days PTO, Healthcare Benefits, Work Permit covered & more My client is a luxury 5-star private members only resort based in Antigua in The Caribbean. They are looking for a creative Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef to join their culinary team at their beautiful resort and manage a team of 20 staff. Responsibilities: Prepare, cook and service all food items for a la carte and events according to resort recipes and standards Have full knowledge of all menu items Maintaining & ordering stocks and supplier Assisting with the production for restaurants Kitchen maintenance and cleaning, following food safety requirements Ensures high quality, palatable and well-presented foods are served Creates dishes to meet customer preferences, seasonal variances, and cost objectives Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests The Ideal Candidate: 3+ years’ experience working in a 5-star resort and/or fine dining restaurant High volume background Strong ability to maintain the highest quality standards Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance Career longevity & stability Excellent communicator, leader & team player Strong presentation skills NOTE: Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be considered & must have the right to work in The Caribbean If you’d like to hear more about this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with Danny by emailing your updated resume to Danny@About COREcruitment COREcruitment are experts in recruiting for Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Retail, FM, Property and Construction sectors.
