Our goal is to Support young adults in our local community to have a happy and valuable life experience. and for our team to have passion for the work they do. Inspected and rated as " Good" by the CQC, we are determined to elevate our standards even further in our next inspection. We are looking for a Support Worker to our team based in Guildford, working with a bright and charismatic young man with autism and epilepsy. In this position, you'll provide assistance to a young man on Mondays from 9 am to 5 pm as he pursues his studies in Life Skills at Alton College. Additionally, you'll support him on Saturdays while he works at Chessington World of Adventures, ensuring he arrives for work on time, provide him with any necessary support related to his work duties at the theme park and once finished engage with him, once home, in playing board games which is one of his passions. Part of this role will be to support him to manage his epilepsy (full training will be provided)We are seeking an individual with: A fun and happy outlook on life. Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
