Job Title: Telehandler Operator Location: Strood, UK About Us: A reputable construction company is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler Operator to join our team in Strood. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers efficiently and safely on our construction sites. Key Responsibilities: Operating a telehandler to lift, move, and position materials as required. Safely loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles. Transporting materials around the construction site as directed. Assisting with general site duties as needed. Conducting pre: start checks and routine maintenance on the telehandler. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements: Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) ticket for telehandler operation. Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites. A strong focus on safety and adherence to best practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety boots, hi: vis vest, and hard hat. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
