We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hull to assist with the appointment of an Overpayment Officer , on a 3- month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £12.00 per Hour PAYE Responsibilities: To contribute to the day to day operation of the overpayment team, providing an efficient and effective service in response to overpayment & BID levy queries from internal and external customers Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of current legislation, guidance and best practice. To provide an efficient and effective service in response to overpayment & BID levy queries from internal and external customers. Work holistically with officers within the Revenues and Benefits service sharing expertise that embeds new working practices. Assist with the induction, training and mentoring of staff and provide assistance and support to other staff giving guidance, direction and training on operational matters, in line with legislation, guidance, office practice and procedure. Qualifications: GCSE (Grade 4-9) Or Key Skills level 2, or equivalent BTEC First Diplomas and certificates Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
