My client is a well established business working within the Automotive industry manufacturing, refurbishing and assembling niche products after a recent acquisition they are looking to utilise the skills of a CAD Daughtsperson to integrate the other businesses engineering drawings and schematics into their own systems, these may be CAD drawings, hand drawings and even reverse engineering from product to create the Drawings to add to the library. The manufacturing facilities are based in Northampton and there is the opportunity to work Hybrid. The Role - CAD Draughtsman: - Updating and integrating drawings into the existing software Solidworks - Re-draughting from paper diagrams and schematics into Solidworks ready for future manufacturing - From a component, reverse engineer a drawing form component - Help to create and update a functioning catalogue of engineering drawings Minimum Skills / Experience Required - CAD Draughtsperson / Mechanical Design Engineer: - Extensive experience within mechanical design and CAD draughting - Be a competent user of Solidworks 2022 preferably - Experience of component design and drawing - Have the knowledge to create drawings from components - Ideally have your own software The Package - CAD Draughtsperson: - Rate £35 to £45 per hour - Possibility of Hybrid working - Free onsite parking About Precision People Precision People is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in sourcing top talent for Engineering, Technical, Sales and Senior Management roles across a wide range of industries.
