HEALTH and SAFETY OFFICER / FLEXIBLE LOCATION : HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS AVAILABLE Locations available: Axminster, Honiton, Exeter, Barnstaple, Bideford, Bridgwater, Burnham: On: Sea, Crediton, Holsworthy, Okehampton, Plymouth, Seaton, Somerton, Tiverton, Torquay or Weston: Super: Mare Job type: Permanent Hours: 2 days per week, 14.5 hours Salary: A GBP 14,000 per annum Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to join our client on a permanent part time basis being based from any Devon or Somerset office : although travel will be required to all offices from time to time. Reporting to the Partner accountable for Health and Safety and working closely with the Health and Safety Administrator, the successful candidate will coordinate and lead activities on all matters of health and safety whilst having responsibility for the day: to: day health and safety of the firm. Duties and responsibilities: Upkeep and delivery of in: house health and safety training materials including office manual, induction training, refresher training, office champion and management training, including CDM Coordination, completion and monitoring of new starters and annual DSE training inclyding follow up actions of organizing equipment eg. Chairs and desks Attendance at quarterly new starter meeting to complete Health and Safety new starters brief Production of health and safety communications inclyding ad hoc Viva Engage updates and monthly report for the Management Board First Aider monitoring and training coordination Completion of all general health and safety related risk backssments and supporting office lead Partners on completion of local backssments Selection, coordination and monitoring of external, health and safety related contractors including fire, electrical and asbestos Coordination of all fire risk backssments and guidance to office lead Partners on any subsequent required actions Coordination.
