Job title: Audio Visual Technical Manager Location: Brussels Salary: €45.000 - €55.000Technical Manager Looking for something extraordinary Fancy being part of Belgium’s newest, coolest, latest venue This is a super exciting role based in the Hearth of Brussels Are you all things technical and are good under pressure - this role is for YOUTHE ROLE: The Technical Audio Visual Manager must be able to demonstrate an extensive technical background, have experience managing and leading a team and have strong communication skills. THE RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary responsibility for the smooth running of the tech throughout any shows and experiences, and all troubleshooting requirements Support in the recruitment, training, management and coaching of all Technicians Maintenance of all technical equipment, including preventative maintenance, regular testing and thorough reporting of technical issues Planning staff schedules according to business levels and setting weekly tech team priorities Ensure organization of equipment, and oversight of inventory management Daily Technician duties including operating the controller system, performing daily tests and resolving troubleshooting issues THE REQUIREMENTinteractiontensive working knowledge of technical disciplines such as lighting, sound, media presentation and stage management -Experience working in a live events venue is desirable Experience successfully managing a technical team - multi-location management is preferred A strong health and safety focus to ensure the necessary procedures and maintenance routines are being adhered to A passion for delivering high quality customer experiences, strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of working to a technical budget and understanding of P&L management is a bonus An interest in travel is beneficial as there will be a requirement to travel to other locations as the company expands THE FUN STUFF: Full time weekend and evening work will be required Conversational French.
