We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a Financial Advisor , on a 3- month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £19 per hour PAYE Responsibilities: Gathering information on the residents circumstances, particularly finances, covering income, capital and expenditure. Carrying out financial backssments in accordance with relevant legislation, national guidance and any local policy, procedure and guidance. Completing initial benefit checks identifying additional entitlements, help customers make initial claims or reviews. Operating systems and procedures so that income due to the department is, invoiced, collected and accounted. Qualifications: Experience of providing financial backssment or similar services. Experience of undertaking benefits backssments or providing welfare benefits advice. Knowledge of current Social Security Benefits, tax credits and related legislation, policy and practice. Understanding of the principles and practice of either domiciliary or residential charging policies. IT literate and able to work with different systems and databases, including good excel skills. Knowledge of Adult Social Care and relevant business processes. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice. You should have right to work in U.
