A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join an excellent Manufacturing company in the Bristol area. With no day ever being the same, the Lead Electrical Design Engineer role offers genuine long: term progression and career development within a first: class manufacturing environment. Role and Responsibilities: Design of precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms. Guiding and mentoring the engineering team members, ensuring their professional growth and development, including introduction for new staff. Team compliance with company quality, and other regulatory and compliance standards. Support other departments by answering queries and requests for information relating to your function. Support the other Lead Engineer to ensure engineering consistency. Prioritise the continuous improvement of engineering function and the team. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Design of precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms. Broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials. Qualifications in an engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Software) and CAD software, (Solid Edge/Auto CAD preferred) Lifecycle management knowledge Report writing skills, Microsoft Word and Excel : competent Microsoft Project Knowledge of regulatory and standards compliance requirements Package and Benefits: 25 days annual leave Early finish on Fridays Private healthcare A share incentive plan A defined contribution Group Personal Pension Plan Flexible benefits package.
