Environmental Regulatory Scientists Location - Bootle, Liverpool, York, Bedford, Bristol, or Edinburgh About Us The Health and Safety Executive is Britain's national regulator for workplace health and safety. We're dedicated to protecting people and places, ensuring everyone can lead safer and healthier lives at work. The Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD) regulates pesticides, biocides, industrial and consumer chemicals, detergents, and the export of dangerous chemicals. The Division also seeks to prevent the adverse effects of chemicals on both people and the environment. The CRD Environmental Teams evaluate the effectiveness of pesticides and biocides, how chemicals behave in the environment and what their environmental impacts are. We are now looking for Environmental Regulatory Scientists to join our CRD Environmental Teams on a permanent, full-time basis.
