Team Overview The Graphics function at Arrowstreet sits within our broader Marketing & Reporting Department and is responsible for ensuring the Arrowstreet brand is clearly defined, impactful, and consistently reflected across all firm materials and resources. The Head of Graphics Design partners with and supports teams across the firm on various graphics and branding projects, ensuring the presentation of information is high quality across all resources. Job Description The Head of Graphics Design at Arrowstreet will be primarily responsible for establishing, defining and managing an effective and valued graphics function within the firm that provides expertise in the design of high quality and consistent materials used to support our business activities as well as internal initiatives, The Head of Graphics Design will be focused on maintaining and building our brand consistently across materials and supporting various initiatives across the firm, ensuring materials are high quality effective and well designed. This individual will be expected to build strong working relationships as a crucial part of this role will be to collaborate internally, propose visual improvements to content presentations, incorporate collective feedback, and explain the rationale behind graphics design decisions. This individual will also be expected to demonstrate strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to execute multiple projects at once and prioritize accordingly. Lastly, this individual will be expected to keep up with graphics design and software trends, acknowledging the growing relationship between technology and graphics design. Members of this team will benefit from a sound understanding of asset management and institutional investor expectations. Responsibilities Collaborate internally across the firm to build new materials and enhance existing materials that effectively communicate desired messaging in a well-designed and consistent presentation, leveraging technology to ensure consistent brand and design elements are implemented.Own the Arrowstreet brand standards and be responsible for the implementation of those standards across all materials, including how the Arrowstreet logo and other graphics should be organized and displayed across resources, ensuring all existing marketing materials and collateral adhere to the brand style guide.Partner closely with the Arrowstreet Communications team to support graphics needs on various projects including external website design and material production for Arrowstreet-hosted events.Support the firm on various ad hoc projects related to presentation formatting and editing, investment note formatting and editing, photo editing, and video editing. Qualifications BS/BA degree in Art, Design, Marketing or Communications preferred5 - 8 years of related experience in the financial services industry requiredGraphics Design and/or Marketing certifications a plusMastery of Microsoft office and industry-standard software to create logos and design new graphicsExperience in creating and editing marketing collateral, which may include presentations, reporting and website design.UX/UI skills are a plusExperience with photo and video editingWe maintain a friendly, team-oriented environment and place a high value on professionalism, attitude and initiative.PDN-9b4890ca-9426-4921-b0f4-f2a974964371
