PURPOSE OF JOB: • An exciting opportunity has arisen in Access Policy within the Health Economics, Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR) team in Janssen EMEA. • The individual will work in collaboration with key internal stakeholders to drive Access Policy across EMEA. Key areas of focus involve monitoring policy developments, collaborating with a cross-functional team and providing HEMAR input to the EU legislative and policy agenda, developing content and policy positions, delivering research to inform evidence-based debate, building internal capabilities, developing and executing an external engagement plan to drive the debate for policy reform. MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS: • Shaping the Access Policy Strategy • Liaising closely with cross-functional colleagues (Comms, GA&P, Legal etc. ), Op Cos and TA's to align on policy priorities, and develop relevant action plans to drive VBHC • Developing and executing external engagement plans (e. g. publications, panels, round tables, thought-leadership etc. ) to drive the debate around policy priority areas. • Developing and shaping policy positions relating to access (in collaboration with other key functions). • Tracking access-related policy developments and communicating these internally. • Monitoring health and medical expenditure trends. • Conducting policy research and generating evidence to support our organisation in driving the debate around access-related policy issues • Providing expert input into the EU legislative and policy agenda, draft legislations and EFPIA documents. • Supporting HEMAR input into the Pharma Regulation (developing/contributing to briefings for senior leadership and ensuring EFPIA co-ordination within HEMAR) • Co-ordinating HEMAR topic experts and developing content/presentations to support/update HEMAR leadership as necessary (at ELT, ELST, JPAC) • Supporting workstreams focused on EU HTA Regulation (shaping policy and company readiness). • Co-leading an Access.
