We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Maintenance Engineer , on a 6-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration Rate of pay: £22.00 per hour PAYE Summary: Carry out varied PPM maintenance, remedial and reactive works as and when instructed across the Councils Operational Estate. Carry out various mechanical/HVAC tasks across the Councils Operational Estate Provide mechanical/HVAC knowledge and advice to the FM team Support the Hard Services Managers regarding building HVAC systems and compliance Support the FM maintenance wider team as required Work with the FM Maintenance team to give support and advice when and where required. Responsibilities: Carry out mechanical/HVAC Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within the Catford complex and across the operational estate, to ensure works are completed within the set time frames and the works signed off in the correct procedure. To take site ownership of Catford complex plant rooms and associated field plant Responsible for the supervision of on site building maintenance contractors within the Catford complex Ensure all remedial works following PPM tasks are immediately reported to the FM Help Desk explaining exactly what follow on remedial works are required. Monitor and adjust BMS/HVAC control systems as and when required Qualifications: Completed a recognised mechanical/HVAC apprenticeship Hold accredited mechanical, HVAC or electrical qualifications Must hold clean driving licence Experience: Clear evidence of carrying out HVAC and general maintenance duties in a commercial environment. Demonstrable evidence of working within a team environment Evidence of good performance management with regards to carryingout planned preventive maintenance Clear evidence of operating Building Management Systems (BMS) Please note: You should be.
