The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the direction of the Manager, Adult Radiology: Monitors and replenishes inventory including: medical surgical supplies, and non-capital equipment, (includes: stationary, office supplies and forms). Receives and verifies the accuracy of order receipts against orders placed. Reports any difficulties in obtaining medical/surgical supplies or equipment to the Diagnostic Imaging Unit Supply Coordinator or Manager of Adult Radiology as required. Assists in the investigation of any discrepancies in the supplies received (i. e. warehouse, purchasing, receiving). Works with the Diagnostic Imaging Unit Supply Coordinator to process any requests and inquiries from patient care providers that have been brought to their attention arising from changing patient needs, emergent or urgent medical situations and the use of specific medical supplies. Prioritizes requests and takes appropriate action on own initiative and/or refers request to supply coordinator or Manager when required.
