A fantastic opportunity awaits a skilled and motivated Service Desk Analyst to join a dynamic team in a well-established organisation set within an educational setting. As a key team member, you'll work closely with colleagues to resolve issues, fulfil service requests and offer 1st and 2nd line IT support. In the Service Desk Analyst role, you will be: Offering high-quality, customer-focused Service Desk support through various channels, resolving as many inquiries as possible on the first attempt and directing complex issues to relevant technical teams. Managing incident and service request life cycles in accordance with Service Level Agreements, ensuring continuous monitoring, progress tracking, and user communication. Providing technical support for a wide range of services and devices, such as PCs, laptops, network systems, AV technologies, digital learning platforms, BYOD devices, etc. Identifying and prioritising time-sensitive support requests, taking prompt action and escalating major incidents to senior colleagues when necessary. Communicating effectively with users, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and clarity in spoken and written communications. Additionally, translate technical information into plain English responses for user understanding. To be considered for the Service Desk Analyst role, you will need: Previous experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and customer service skills over the telephone and email correspondence. Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels, clearly communicate departmental requirements, and build good relationships. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Solutions and in-house IT solutions. Experience of working within a structured Service Management environment This is a temporary ongoing role for the period of approximately 3 months, working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday.
