Backwoods Security Services is currently seeking a Security Guard to work in a retail setting in the Lloydminster, AB area Wage: $19.00 / Hour Shift: 6 on 1 off; 6-10pm (4days) and 2-10pm (2 days) What we offer: Competitive Health Benefit Package after 6 months All uniforms and PPE Career growth opportunities Job Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by patrolling and monitoring premises Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment and access points Access Control: Permit authorized persons entry to site when required Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain if necessary Control traffic by directing drivers Complete daily Field Level Hazard backssments (FLHA’s) and Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR’s) and Incident Reports (IR’s) when required Inspect Backwoods vehicles, notify Field Manager when service is required Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls Arrive on time for shift. If you know you will be unable to fulfill your duties, you must communicate with the on-call supervisor ahead of time Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team or individually Job Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience in a Security Guard position (preferred) Valid Alberta Security License (required) Valid Standard First Aid Certification (required) Overtime work may be required Please note that only Permanent Residence and Canadian citizens are eligible for consideration.
