About the Role Pixomondo is seeking a dedicated Research Scientist to lead innovative projects in neural rendering - Gaussian Splatting. This role focuses on groundbreaking theoretical research and experimentation in this field, aiming to advance Pixomondo's capabilities in visual effects and virtual production. Key Responsibilities Conduct cutting-edge research in neural rendering - Gaussian Splatting and publish findings. Translate theoretical research into practical algorithms in collaboration with development teams. Identify emerging trends and opportunities in neural rendering for VFX/VP innovation. Collaborate with Computer Vision Engineers to ensure practical applicability of research outcomes in production. Qualifications Significant research experience in Ne RF, Gaussian Splatting, or related fields. Strong foundational knowledge of Machine Learning and 3D graphics. Proficiency in Python and Py Torch. CUDA expertise is a plus. Experience in traditional 3D reconstruction methods is beneficial. Solid background in 3D graphics preferred.
