Enabling Support Worker Location: Prudhoe Hours: Full and part time hour available Salary: A GBP 10.90 per hour Would you enjoy working in Social Care? Do you have the values, passion and empathy the charity are looking for? Our client is the charity thats committed to enabling people with disabilities to live the life they want to lead. They work to change what is unlivable, helping people to tackle the barriers they face and create a livable life. The Role Beaumont Court, in Prudhoe, Northumberland, provides independent living services to adults with intellectual disabilities. The charity are looking for staff to join their lovely support team in their shared support living service in Prudhoe. Supporting adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible and lead fulfilling lives. The organisation support people with activities of daily living; including bathing, dressing, personal care, food shopping, meal preparation, medication as well as to access their local community and activities of interest. They support people to regularly attend day centres, church, accessible gyms and sensory rooms through the week and this year theyve supported people to events such as the Edinburgh Tattoo, on holiday to the Northumberland Coast, to days out at the Cricket and to spend time with their families. Role Requirements You do not need any qualifications or experience to join the organisation as an Enabling Support Worker. They only ask that you have the ambition to make a positive contribution to peoples life, are compassionate and kind. If this is you, they would love to hear from you. Additional Information Shift patterns are 8am : 8pm, or 9am : 9am with an 8 hour sleep over. The role will only be for candidates of whom can drive.
