As Chef you will be working in one of their most popular venues, where they are renowned for their extensive menu which has an emphasis on home-made quality food. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a busy kitchen environment where thinking fast and working under pressure is second nature. Using seasonal ingredients this is a forward thinking and exciting opportunity to showcase your skills to a consistent level daily. Although not essential, cake baking experience is preferred Initially on a part-time basis (20hrs per week) there is scope for this to progress into a full time role for the right candidate. What is needed · Confident, creative and passionate about good food served well. · Knowledge of classic cooking techniques· The ability to work well within a team, be hard working and have a positive work ethic· Trained to Level 2/3 in a Professional Cookery qualification or have relative experience. · The ability to consistently meet customer expectations· A sound understanding of good food hygiene practices· Must be able to drive as this is not an easy location to commute to using public transport. · An excellent command of the English language and a confident communicator· Wages and hours to be discussed at an interview, the job is part time but this may progress into a full time position.
