Litt Recruitment Group are incredibly excited to be working alongside one of Pontelands top restaurants. We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join the Italian / Mediterranean team. The restaurant is known for its top-quality, freshly prepared food and excellent service. The restaurant was created to bring quality locally sourced ingredients, to provide the people of Ponteland with the highest quality food. We are looking for someone who is passionate and creative, has an eye for detail, and is dedicated to creating the best culinary experience for the customers. Responsibilities: - Plan and prepare menus- Creating new and innovative dishes that are in line with the restaurant's style- Preparing and cooking food to the highest standards- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen- Managing food inventory and ordering supplies- Ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed- Overseeing kitchen staff and training new employees if needed Requirements: - 2-3 years of experience at a full chef level- Knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and baking - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and presentation of dishes - Ability to work flexible hours (last orders 8.30/9 pm and two consecutive days off a week) - Good communication and leadership skills- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Benefits: - Competitive salary of 25-35k - Free food on shift- Free parking- Nice and relaxed work environment - Flexible working hours including the possibility of weekends off- Two consecutive days off.
