Zest Scientific is partnered with a leading supplier of high end manufacturing equipment to the microelectronic, advanced technology and automotive industries in order to identify a Technical Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in offering the highest standard of support and service to the Semiconductor industry. This represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong technical understanding of the Semiconductor space, who is comfortable working both independently and as part of the technical team. The Candidate: Educated to degree level minimum in an Engineering discipline. You will have a good working knowledge of semiconductor assembly and manufacturing processes. Self-motivated - You thrive when work is related closely to results and comfortable working autonomously. Ability to quickly learn new concepts as the company provides outstanding technical training and support to ensure first class product knowledge. A personable individual who is comfortable working independently, on-site with existing customers. A full UK driving License with the willingness to travel at short notice to client sites, and stay overnight in the area if required. The Role: Providing on-site installation, servicing and repair of wafer fabrication and assembly equipment to the Semiconductor industry. An opportunity to deliver the highest level customer training & support to the microelectronic, advanced technology and automotive industries. Extensive travel across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe 75 travel expected for on-site visits. The Company: Highly reputable instrumentation distributor exclusively partnered with a number of oversees manufacturers.
