We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of a Mobile Telephony Technician, on a 6- month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15.00 per hour PAYE Responsibilities: Monitor helpdesk systems and alert Team to priority calls when necessary, reassign all cases sent to the incorrect queues. Resolve customer enquiries and problems ensuring an accurate resolved status and closure code is used in agreement with the customer. Where appropriate escalate any problems /potential issues to direct line management. Provide telephony troubleshooting and provide second line technical support, and technical backssments to third line support for fault escalation and account management, not limited to BT, Gamma, and Vodafone. Monitor and manage the Councils mobile related Requests and Incidents. Responding to incoming requests, via a variety of media against agreed thresholds in line with the contracted service levels. To contribute to overall achievement of required Service Level by maintaining agreed personal targets. Assist in ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. Validate the Councils supplier invoices of telephony, not limited to BT Gamma, EE, Vodafone, and paper bills against inventory and prepare invoice coding and journals for settlement. Access the Councils financial system when required Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent work related experience. Experience and understanding of successful contract relationships. Experience of successfully working within multi-disciplinary teams, including senior managers, other key stakeholders, and external partners. Experience of ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget to the agreed standards. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
