Landscaping by J. Michael, located in Marshfield, MA, is seeking a Part-Time Human Resource Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail oriented, and posses excellent communication skills.Job Summery: Responsible for supporting the administration of the HR function. Job Duties: Coordinate applicant tracking database and update company website to find and attract candidates for open positions; attend job fairs, trade shows and other events to increase applicant pool Participate in the interviewing and hiring process with managers Complete background checks including references, employment verification, RMV and CORI HRIS data management including entry of employee data, generate reports, process worker's compensation and unemployment claims Maintain employee benefits program; coordinate open enrollments with all vendors Assist with employee relations as needed Other duties as assigned by management Requirements: 2 years of HR experience with knowledge of current Federal and State HR laws Experience with payroll software; Paychex a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality Powered by JazzHR
