Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Housing Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position. ROLE: Housing Lawyer ASBOLOCATION: London RATE: £40.00 to £50.00 per hour CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing Please note that this would be hybrid working 2 days per week The Role of the Housing Lawyer To undertake a substantial caseload of anti-social behaviour ASB matters Cases will relate to the Housing Act 1985, Housing Act 1996, Crime and Disorder Act 1998, Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003, Equality Act 2010, Anti-Social Crime and Policing Act 2014 & Domestic Abuse Act 2021To draft, negotiate and agree legal documentation arising out of the exercise of the Council's anti-social behaviour/housing litigation functions The Person A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a current practising certificate A strong technical understand in relation to ASBO law in a public sector Previous working experience within a local authority If this Housing Lawyer role sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on 01772 xyzxyz, or email also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
