CHEF/LINE COOK Syberg's is looking to hire a full-time Chef / Line Cook for one of our Saint Louis, MO locations. If so, please read on! This entry-level culinary position earns $12.00 - $15.00/hour , depending on experience. We also offer our valued employees one free meal per shift . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF / LINE COOK As a Chef / Line Cook, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every delicious signature dish that leaves our high-volume kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. You portion and prep food according to our recipes with fresh, premium ingredients, making sure food items are properly stored and rotated. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. As a line cook, you cook food as well as assemble and plate food in an appealing manner. You work in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner, ensuring that properly cooked food gets out to our guests in a timely manner. Your attention to detail ensures that each dish meets our established guidelines in every aspect as well as adheres to any special requests. You also help to keep the kitchen sparkling clean, assisting with cleaning whenever needed. Your positive attitude contributes greatly to our restaurant family, and you enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a cohesive culinary team! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL CHEF / LINE COOK Ability to be on your feet for a full shift in a warm, noisy, and fast-paced kitchen environment Are you professional and work well as part of a team?
