Looking for new challenge as a Graphic Artist? UPC has an IMMEDIATE need for a skilled and highly motivated Graphic Artist in our Art Department. In this position the graphic designer will work as part of our internal design & engineering team by creating art work for retail store fixtures and point of purchase displays. Currently UPC works with companies in the stationary, gifts, home appliances, housewares and sporting goods industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and design support to multiple design teams involved with conceptual, preliminary and final design. Responsibilities 3D renderings of conceptual point of sale displays graphic illustration and layout generation of instruction documents and video Website maintenance experience with HTML and CSS Qualifications Associate's degree and 3-5 years of experience or the equivalent combination. Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (with an emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier) Strata 3D, Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment Excellent oral and written skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Takes initiative and follow through on tasks Self-starter and excellent communicator Benefits: Health, dental and vision available after 90 days Company contributes to health insurance each month on your behalf Paid holidays and overtime available STD, LTD, life insurance available Paid time off (PTO) and 401k after 1yr Free t-shirts Cross train in other departments to increase your skills U PC is a custom job shop that uses various plastic, wood, metal and other materials in its products.
