Aerospace Manufacturing ERP Administrator Mayday Manufacturing is looking for an ERP Administrator to join our team. ERP Administrators are responsible for understanding system workflows on how transactions are created, approved, canceled, and closed. Position Overview: The ERP Administrator I is the key individual responsible for Mayday's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Aptean's Made2Manage. They should be familiar with the functionality and capabilities of the system, understand business logic, and be knowledgeable on all the different modules. You will be responsible for understanding system workflows on how transactions are created, approved, cancelled, and closed. You should be able to customize reports, screens, fields, and be the caretaker of system configuration. You should be well versed in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and its capabilities, with the ability to write SQL stored procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Understands the business requirements and how they translate to ERP features Understands SOX requirements and ensures the system remains compliant with good management and auditing practices Understands, designs, and creates SSRS reports based on user needs Understands, designs, and creates SQL stored procedures Creates and modifies SQL triggers Evaluates other applications to update, reprogram, remove, or add new functionality to the ERP system Develops and follows programming standards Develops and maintains the ERP system configuration documentation Tests and performs service packs and upgrades on the system, with the ability to understand and communicate impactful changes to other IT staff Competencies: Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical information Ability to write in simple correspondence and technical documents Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and business periodicals Ability to solve practical problems through the use of flowcharts, entity relationship diagrams, and other decision support methodologies Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and develop solutions Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Intermediate to advanced on SQL Databases, minimum 3 years of experience Intermediate to advanced on SSRS, minimum one year of experience Intermediate to advanced on XAML, minimum one year of experience Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or two years or more of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Certified training or 2 years' experience managing a Made2Manage environment a plus SOX training or certification a plus Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This is an onsite position. Work is performed in an office environment.
