Job Title Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shift Nights, Sundays - Tuesday, 1 in 4 Sat Nights Average 39 hours on a 4-week cycle Salary Basic £46,281 - (incl. Saturdays £51,582) plus benefits Location Suffolk, near Ditchingham An exciting role has risen with our client in Suffolk for a mechanically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be joining their factory on a 19-acre site near Ditchingham. The client has been established for over 200 years and a specialist leader in their sector for more than 150 years. About you The ideal candidate would be a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is mechanically biased, apprentice-trained, and have strong electrical diagnostics and fault-finding experience with 3-phase and DC systems. You should have worked in FMCG, but other industries will be considered including if you have an ex-Forces background. Essentially, you must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with evidence of certifications. The role would ideally suit an engineer that likes to be on their toes, enjoys high pressure and challenge. What you'll be doing As a mechanically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be working on machinery that includes printing, binding, conveyors, and packaging. The shift pattern includes a 1 in 4 Saturday Night extra allowance on top of the basic salary and there will be training for all engineers to gain a true Multi Skilled background.
