Your opportunity: Med IT provides information technology support for the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Our mission is to partner and collaborate with clients, University, and third parties to determine value based, sustainable technology solutions that enable the Faculty to achieve its academic mission. The System Administrator will work closely withthe Technical Operations team to maintain and support both Windows and Linux/Unix-based systems across Temerty Medicine. You will have the opportunity to contribute to greenfield projects such as Med IT's hybrid cloud infrastructure transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering, maintaining, and supporting Windows and Unix/Linux systems, and experience with various technical domains, including networking, virtualization, storage and security. Your responsibilities will include: Administering and maintaining both physical and virtualized systems on a variety of platforms including Unix/Linux, Windows, and Apple OS/X Configuring, administering, maintaining, troubleshooting and resolving issues on a variety of platforms Implementing daily support, administration, and maintenance of critical applications, ensuring security measures are adhered to Installing software, performing OS updates, advising on software and hardware refresh cycle, and assisting in supporting and maintaining Temerty Medicine's networks Administering and maintaining application, database, and.
