Posting End Date: Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC This position can be filled as a Technical Support Specialist I, II, III, or Senior depending on the candidates qualifications and experience. This position may be filled in New Orleans, LA or Jackson, MS. JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY: Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing improvement projects, and/or provide diagnostic subject matter expertise to enhance the overall reliability, efficiency, and safety of the plant. Position can exist in the following environments: Plant, Plant Support, or Fleet Maintenance. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: : Conduct root cause analysis and prepare reports for management use: Provide primary or backup technical support for various plant system and processes: Utilize experience, knowledge, and online monitoring systems and tools to analyze, trend, and monitor plant equipment performance data in an effort to improve plant operation: Provide technical support to maintenance, outage, and capital projects: Technical Lead on specific / complex projects: Support equipment problem solving, condition backssments, and represent Entergy during OEM discussions or shop repairs. Plant Support assignments may engage in diagnostic services (vibration analysis, off: line motor testing, Infra: red, performance testing, vacuum leak: detection, etc. ) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position: : High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience: Desired: : Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or B. S. Degree in Science in a technical field Minimum experience required of the position: : Tech Support Specialist I:0:2 years of power plant or relevant technical experience is preferred.Tech Support Specialist II: 2:4 years of power plant or relevant technical experience is preferred.Tech Support Specialist III:4:6 years of power plant or relevant technical experience is preferred.Tech Support Specialist Sr: 6+.
