What does a Technical Operations Specialist do? As a Technical Operations Specialist, you are a vital member of the laboratory team. You will support the daily laboratory functions, ensuring that equipment and monitoring systems are onboarded, maintained, qualified and ready for use by the scientists. This will include drafting qualification protocols, risk backssments and SOPs, coordinating equipment maintenance contracts and engineer visits, trouble shooting and management of the facilities and equipment tracking system whilst adhering to the quality management system. You will also be required to support with the management of the UK capital expenditure budget, co-ordination of the renewal of maintenance contracts and preparation of the annual maintenance budget. What are we looking for? We are looking for a team player looking to take on the challenge of supporting the medical industry. We want someone who enjoys working well in a team but also is comfortable working independently. You will be very methodical, well organised and have a high level of attention.
