At Kimpton Blythswood Square we want to deliver a ridiculously personal service to all our guests whether they are relaxing in our Spa or enjoying sustainably sourced Scottish seafood in our iasg restaurant. We are looking for an Events Coordinator who will report to the Cluster Meeting and Events Manager and is available to work 40 hours typically between Monday and Friday (some additional hours may be required at times, all additional hours worked are paid). This is a cluster role giving you the chance to work between our voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel! You will work closely with and report into our Meeting and Events Manager and establish client requirements to identify how our Hotels’ can facilitate their needs. Through both emails and phone calls, you will respond to Event enquires in-line with company standards in a prompt and courteous manner whilst ensuring that you are maximising Reservations, Sales, Occupancy and Revenue (including upselling relevant Hotel facilities wherever possible). You will work to accurately input all enquires into Sales and Reservations systems, therefore it is important that you are someone with strong IT skills.
