Director, Investment Services Alberta Innovates (AI) is seeking a Director, Investment Services responsible for planning, implementing and leading corporate investment due diligence and market intelligence support for Alberta Innovates programs. The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee and evaluate a team of investment professionals’ analysis to ensure that they create justified positions to drive evidence-based operational, capital and investment recommendations. The successful applicant will also need to be able to provide leadership and advice, build stakeholder relationships, and ensure activities are compliant with corporate policies and applicable regulatory requirements. You would be a good fit for this position if you: Has the ability to lead and make strategic decisions and demonstrates effective leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the capability to guide a team in achievement investment objectives. Deep understanding of investment strategies, risk management and financial markets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and capable of building relationships with clients, presenting investment strategies, and collaborating with internal teams. We are game changers.
