Credit Management at Chubb is responsible for backssing risk to any credit counterparty and advising as to an appropriate risk mitigation procedure for each scenario. Credit counterparties include but are not limited to brokers, agents, captive reinsurers, insureds, non-affiliates and banks providing collateral. The Credit Risk Analyst role fully supports all activities overseen by the Credit Risk Manager, requiring numerous financial reviews to be completed on a range of entities bringing different risks to Chubb's balance sheet. The role also requires strong administrative skills and attention to detail. A high level of flexibility is require for this role, to understand and mitigate credit risk to varied and sometimes complex arrangements. In addition, the role requires the ability to analyse the credit risks of a broad range of counterparties across multiple industries and geographies and to identify and mitigate emerging risks. Key responsibilities: Participation in the UK & Ireland broker approval process, including management of the new broker pipeline, coordination with internal stakeholders, preparation of committee submissions and completion of appropriate legal documentation. Ad hoc review of broker financial standing, consideration of outstanding debts and responding to any changes in regulatory status. Responsible for ensuring appropriate remediation efforts. Working with stakeholders to ensure accurate coverage of Chubb approved brokers in the system of record. Coordinating internal and external enquiries on coverage. Maintenance of the Broker Protocols internal web pages including news updates of coverage changes. Oversight and analysis of Chubb's network of partner insurance companies including liaison with network team to contain credit risks on a case by case basis. Undertake ad-hoc financial.
