Job Description: Are you a qualified Hvac Engineer with commercial maintenance experience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training? They are seeking an experienced Hvac Engineer who has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of Fabric Engineer (Static role) and minor remedial tasks. This is mainly a Monday to Friday role but will require some weekend work and no call outs. This will be focused on various commercial sites, the role will be covering Bridgend and the surrounding areas. Package includes: Salary GBP38k Core hours Monday to Friday Annual leave (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays) Pension Scheme Training and Development Courses Use of pool van whilst on site No Call out Qualifications: Air Conditioning City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 NVQ Level 2 and 3 Fgas : 2079 lasts forever / 2089 5 yrs Commercial Gas NVQ / City and guilds in plumbing / heating (nice to have) COCN1 / CODNCO1 : commercial change over Day to Day Duties: Mechanical duties Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing AHUs/FCUs : filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans Pumps : PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls) Motors : PPMs (re: winds, overhauls) Water treatment : dipslides, p H and temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing Water pressurization units Chlorifiers : annual inspection, de: scaling Steam Plant Condensers, Condenser Returns Cooling towers Softeners Humidifiers Hydraulics Pneumatics Boilers : re: sets Chillers : re: sets, 1st Line faults Air: Conditioning/Chiller duties Manufacturers : Carrier, Daikin, Trane, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Mc Quay Splits/multi: splits : filter changes, condenser changes, re: gasing VRV/VAV/VRF : filter changes, condenser changes, re: gasing Close control units (Denco/Liebert) within computer room/comms rooms/data centres hermetic and semi hermetic screw reciprocating, scroll and centrifugal compressors changes.
