Summary We are looking for enthusiastic English tutors to join us in our mission. We are excited to announce a series of extracurricular classes for students learning English as a second language. Some of the upcoming classes include English for Business, English for Technology, and English for Travel, and will run from mid-January 2024. We are now hiring outstanding freelance tutors with experience in ESL tutoring to deliver these sessions for students in Egypt and other countries. Responsibilities Conducting online interactive sessions for ESL students through the Nagwa Classes for Educators app to support learning. Presenting our lesson materials in a clear and memorable way. Running engaging interactive activities to ensure effective learning outcomes. Guiding students through a series of examples and dealing with their questions in the sessions. All lesson materials, activities, and examples will be provided by Nagwa. Qualifications & Work Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher, and over two years of proven teaching or tutoring experience. A CELTA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable. Previous experience tutoring ESL, in particular, English for Specific Purposes. Previous online tutoring experience is highly desirable. Flawless written and spoken English. Behavioural Competencies Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management. Accountability and ownership. Attention to detail. Excellent presentation skills. Compensation This is a temporary, remote, freelance position aimed at candidates in the UK. The compensation is £70 (GBP) per 90-minute session delivered, billable on a monthly basis. This covers session preparation and delivery using the materials that we provide.
