H&S Manager - Permanent - West Midlands/Hybrid based Unilateral IT is seeking a H&S Manager to work for a reputable and growing organisation in the West Midlands region. The role is hybrid based. Location -West Midlands Reporting to - Director Start ASAP Salary - £40-45k Job Specification As the Health and Safety Manager, you will have a very strong foundation already in place with good safety performance and a great track record; we need a new Safety Leader to help the business take the next steps into a positive safety culture. As well as the normal and anticipated duties of a Senior Safety Leader you will be the driver of continual improvement in the safety arena and will produce road maps for the business for short, medium and long term. Responsibilities As the Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for: You Will Be Responsible For Managing the workload of the team Managing the coverage in terms of holidays and geography Preparing safety reports for the business unit and the Group Board reports Root cause analysis of accidents and preventing recurrence Liaising with key stakeholders in both the business unit and with contractors Integrating the group policies into the business Compliance monitoring, auditing, and planning of strategy and delivery of cultural and behavioural change programmers. You will be accountable for the following areas of SHEQ: Assist in building the safety management system Building a pragmatic and effective culture of positive safety engagement in a fast paced and rapidly expanding business Skills Ability to Influence Thinking and Behaviours at all Levels of the Business Full UK Driving Licence Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills Internal and External Stakeholder Management Leading a team Experience with Presenting Safety KPIs including Accident and Incident Rates Safety Management experience Proven Track Record in Driving Cultural Change Experience in Accident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
