Plant and Logistics Manager : HS2 Working for a Tier 1 contractor delivering a large package of works on HS2 and needing a leader to coordinate the Plant and Logistics across the site. Location: Birmingham Salary: GBP75,000 : GBP80,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Bonus + Lodging allowance + Package The Resolute Group have been supporting HS2 since the official award back in 2020, from the initial mobilization through to the continued support for the specialist roles required to deliver the mega project. This position is focused on the HS2 package into Birmingham, managing several sites and having full control of the Plant and Site logistics for these compounds. Having overall management and direction of the plant, equipment operations, and resources required for the delivery of the various activities. This includes managing a large team of Plant Engineers for day: to: day maintenance and 24/7 breakdown cover. Liaising with the Crane APs regarding the requirements around lifting operations from the plant, Health and Safety and lifting plans. Finally managing the logistics team on site transportation in and out of the sites, material deliveries, concreate pour etc. job requirements: Reviews and approve the Sub: contractors and Suppliers Method Statements and Risk backssments produced for their work activities, including Task Briefings. Maintain the Plant management plan to keep any equipment or installation up to date regarding their validity, especially for the lifting equipment and related apparatus as well as for the electrical installation to guarantee their permanent validity and efficiency in a safe manner. Responsible for all aspects of the subject scope, overseeing plant activities, plant performance, and maintenance, ensuring that objectives are achieved in a cost: effective way.
